June started our weddings with yet another rooftop wedding in Brooklyn.

Shannon & Joe’s day has a special place in our heart since we had been planning with them for 18 months. Their infamous blue building facade venue is where we’ve been a part of at least 100 weddings, so we brought all our insider knowledge with us to plan for the best day ever.

We curated their event to their needs, giving them everything they wanted: a band that rocked thanks to Story Tellers, a catering team that had an elevated menu courtesy of Alexandra Detori, Tonhya Kae, photographer, brought in her expert eye to capture their fun summer vibe, and florals that gave them the color palette of their dreams thanks to Reflourish.

Their color palette was a gorgeous slate blue toile mixed with peachy, brown neutrals.

Broadway party rentals, being an exclusive vendor gave them plenty of options. And Universal Lighting gave them beautiful lighting in their reception area to create an intimate feel in their spacious, industrial warehouse like venue.

We brought in the reinforcements and secured a tent once the weather looked like it may take a turn. A1 Party rentals provided a clear top tent with open sides to allow a cross breeze and as much natural light in on the rooftop. Huge shout out to their team for providing a quick set up!

Our team consisting of, Andrea and Zaneta that day all had worked in this venue before so we hit the ground running upon arrival, making sure each and every detail our leader, Raquel, had planned to perfection.
