Valentina + James

Valentina and James were married under the most stunning sunset we’ve EVER seen.  Their terrace wedding at The Bordone in LIC was perfection.  We worked with some of our favorite vendors including Creative Foods Catering, Universal Lighting and NT Wedding DJ’s!  

James’ mother, Theresa, is exactly the type of mother you’d want in your corner for your own wedding planning.  Her attention to detail and very ‘NYC-get-it-done’ attitude was like nothing I’d seen in a while.  We knew immediately after our discovery call we’d be a perfect fit!  

While Valetina was busy designing all of the elements of her day, including dancing under a disco ball, Theresa handled the details.  Together we created a perfectly thought-out day.  They thought of everything, from shawls for their guests to use as the night went on, a charging station for everyone’s cell phone, to bathroom baskets with everything you’d need. 

The travel themed day was seen throughout the wedding details, where a ‘passport’ style name tag which we had printed for them, brought guests to their table with their custom luggage tag.  

The sunset was the final touch to this Mexican-American international wedding.  We loved working with this beautiful family!
